The Government considers, first of all, strengthening social responsibility as corporate transformations in Ukrzaliznytsya. Social protection and care for employees should become the basis for the reform decisions of the Supervisory Board and the new Board of the company. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion during a meeting with members of the Supervisory Board of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to him, the Government is rather encouraged by the teamwork of the Company's Supervisory Board with its shareholder the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. For the recent rather short time the corporate governance reform has progressed significantly.

With joining effort there has been developed and approved a plan of step-by-step measures designed to prolong the corporate governance reform, which is being implemented, in particular, through the new version of the Ukrzaliznytsia’s Statute, the Regulations on the Supervisory Board, the establishment of committees, etc.

"The Government has received proposals regarding a property policy and expects such an important document as the Ukrzaliznytsia’s Strategy. We want to see a clear vector of Ukrainian railways development in all directions. Together with that, we are waiting for the financial plan of the company for the next year", summed up Volodymyr Kistion.
