
Volodymyr Groysman paid tribute to the 1932-1933 Holodomor victims
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman took part in the International Forum "Ukraine Remembers - The World Acknowledges!", which gathered numerous delegations from different countries, as well as in the mourning ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Holodomor 1932-1933 at the National Museum Holodomor Victims Memorial.
On these days, Ukraine commemorates the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor. And the mournful events are intended not only to remind about the tragedy of the Ukrainian people, but also to unite the efforts of the international community in condemning the Holodomor as an act of genocide and to prevent such crimes be repeated in the future.
The scientists discovered that at least 7 million Ukrainians had become victims of the Holodomor. This autumn in Kyiv, there has launched a global action "Let’s Light the Candle of Memory", which will take place in 85 places all over the world for 85 days.
