Today, on April 5, within the framework of the triggered by the Gov’t initiative, another 27 communities received over 22 thousand hectares of agricultural land outside inhabited areas to their ownership. Documents on the transfer of land were signed in Vinnitsa, in the presence of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The Head of Government is staying in the region with a working visit, during which, in particular, an expanded meeting "Decentralization and development of regions" will take place with the participation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

"27 communities will get land today. The Government approved a progressive decision, and today we accomplish an important mission", said the Prime Minister.

Background 

The decision on the transfer of agricultural land was approved in late January, 2018. In February, consolidated communities signed a memorandum on the conditions for the transfer of land, and starting March, the process of transfer of the resource has begun. According to the plan, by the end of 2018, all procedures must be completed.
