The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman considers that pursued by the Government reforms in the education system - from preschool education and the New Ukrainian School to the development of vocational education and higher education a systematic step towards improving the quality of life of Ukrainians. The Head of Government stressed on air of the 1 + 1 TV channel.
"Education for me is a critical issue. The Government has launched the New Ukrainian School. This year, 1 million children will attend school in line with the NUS standards. We will fight for the continuation of the reform, and I will do everything for the New Ukrainian School to succeed", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The PM also emphasized that educational standards are being implemented simultaneously with changes in the work of local governments - decentralization, which provides the regions with a resource for the development of a network of educational institutions - kindergartens, schools and colleges. According to the Head of Government, now the objective for local authorities, those engaging in the programs of development of territories, housing construction, is not to forget about the educational infrastructure so that children have a normal environment for learning.
