Gas prices are falling for the third consecutive month in Ukraine, says Volodymyr Groysman
Gas prices in Ukraine are falling for the third consecutive month due to the Government's high ground decision and in line with global trends. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on air of the Ukrayina TV channel.
"The downtrend is taking place from May. This month, the decrease will amount to almost UAH 700. May, June, July, I hope that there will be a falling trend in August as well. The task set was to reduce prices", said Volodymyr Groysman.
Meanwhile, the Head of Government reminded that in addition to lowering the price of gas, the personal responsibility of the management of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrayiny is the accumulation of sufficient gas volume for the heating season, as well as provision of transit through the gas transport system.
