Producers of socially important products will be able to buy gas at a reduced price

On December 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted decisions that make it possible to significantly reduce the price of gas for producers of socially important products.

In particular, producers of socially important products will be able to buy Ukrainian gas (except for natural gas, which will be supplied by Naftogaz for the needs of the population, district heating providers, budget, utility companies) at a price at a maximum markup of 25%.

Producers of the following product groups will be able to buy Ukrainian gas at a reduced price: bread, flour, milk, sunflower oil, eggs and chicken.

This solution will allow producers of these products not to stop production and not to raise prices for socially important products. The Government's decision on the maximum gas margin for producers of socially important products will be valid until April 30, 2022.
