Starting June 10, quarantine measures mitigation will be possible for those areas that have met the criteria determined by the Government Resolution on the introduction of adaptive quarantine. This was announced at a briefing by Deputy Minister of Health - Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Liashko.
"By now we have several regions that demonstrate the above-limit incidence rate of 12 cases per 100,000 population. In particular, these are Kyiv city, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Lviv, Rivne and Chernivtsi regions. These regions cannot apply quarantine mitigation," the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine commented.
The introduced stage of quarantine restrictions relaxation concerns the following areas.
It is allowed to open cultural institutions and hold cultural events in those areas that have reached the criteria. It is also afforded to open facilities that provide accommodation services, apart from children's health and recreation facilities.
Moreover, Viktor Liashko stressed that in all areas that are allowed to open within the framework of adaptive quarantine, there have been devised temporary recommendations for the organization of anti-epidemic measures.
