The Government continues to support and encourage Ukrainian athletes to win. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers on February 9.

"Today, 19 scholarships were awarded to outstanding athletes of Ukraine in Olympic sports and their coaches. In addition, from April 1, another 50 scholarships of the President of Ukraine will be awarded to outstanding athletes in non-Olympic sports, who won 1-3 places at international competitions," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Head of Government highlighted that the recognition of sports achievements is extremely important for Ukrainian athletes. On the occasion, the Prime Minister wished Ukrainians good luck and success at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
