Starting today, applications accepted for a one-time payment of UAH 6,500 as part of the Winter Support programme

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced that starting November 20, 2025, applications would be accepted for a one-time cash benefit of UAH 6,500 for citizens who have been most affected by the war or find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The program is part of Winter Support programme.
The following categories are eligible for assistance:
- children who are under guardianship or care;
- children with disabilities, as well as children in foster families and family-type children's homes (including children with disabilities);
- persons with Group I disabilities among internally displaced persons;
- children from among IDPs who already receive living allowances;
- children from low-income families aged under 18;
- single pensioners who receive a care allowance.
An application can be submitted in two ways:
- online — via the Diia portal or application;
- offline — at any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Pension Fund of Ukraine carries out the payments.
The funds will be credited:
- to a current account with a special use regime (if such an account is opened at a bank);
- to the Diia.Card.
The money can be spent within 180 days from the date of crediting exclusively on clothing and footwear, medicines, and vitamins.
