Twelve years ago, Ukrainians proved once again that we choose our own future: Yulia Svyrydenko on the Day of Dignity and Freedom

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko took part in events to mark the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

The Head of the Ukrainian Government stated:

"Twelve years ago, Ukrainians proved once again that we choose our own future. Back then, we chose the European path once and for all.

Ukrainians know better than anyone what it means to defend their values. They have done so time and again: on the granite, on the barricades during the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity.

We did it again when russia attacked us in 2014 and 2022.

Today, our defenders fight for dignity, freedom, and independence day after day.

Thank you to everyone who stood up for us then and continues to defend our choice to be a free people and live in a free country.

Congratulations on the Day of Dignity and Freedom!"
