Since the launch of zero-interest energy loans, 606 applications have been submitted by entrepreneurs for a total amount of UAH 809 million
It is crucial for us to ensure that Ukrainian businesses can continue operating without interruption, even amid shelling and prolonged power outages. To this end, the Government is constantly introducing and improving support programs for entrepreneurs that address real challenges. This was emphasized by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“One such tool is the zero-interest loan for energy equipment. In less than a month since the launch of the program, banks have already received 606 applications from entrepreneurs for a total of UAH 809 million,” said the Head of Government.
Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the program was available to micro, small, and medium-sized businesses within the framework of Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme: up to UAH 10 million for a term of up to 3 years. The state compensates banks for the difference through the Business Development Fund. The funding is available for the purchase of cogeneration units, diesel, gasoline, and gas generators.
To obtain a loan, it is necessary to submit an application to a partner bank of the programme, undergo an assessment procedure, and receive a decision from the bank. Such applications are given priority consideration.
