On the fulfilment of the task of  President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a campaign for one-time voluntary declaration of assets was launched in Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting on September 1.

"The issue at stake is an amnesty of assets, due to which citizens of Ukraine who have assets that have not been properly taxed can voluntarily fill in one-time declaration, pay a one-time fee and legalize such assets. The procedure is completely voluntary," said the Prime Minister.

The Head of Government emphasized that for decades a system has been built in Ukraine in which entrepreneurs were jeopardized to unveil their real incomes. The PM stressed that now there is no such danger.

"The state allows people to return money and other assets to transparent legal circulation. The experience of other countries of the world shows that the capital amnesty not only has a fiscal effect, but also contributes to the intensification of economic and investment activity," Denys Shmyhal underscored.
