The Prime Minister stressed that the implementation of the law is a step towards improving the financial condition of district heating companies and their modernization.
"This will enable local authorities to address the issue of heating and hot water tariffs in their own communities in a balanced way. In addition, the signed law allows district heating providers to properly prepare and go smoothly through the heating season, " Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
In order to make the restructuring process work as quickly as possible, the Government has approved regulations on territorial commissions that will analyze and verify the amount of debt.
