Ukraine has already harvested more than 22 million tonnes of grains and oilseeds

The harvest of early grain crops continues in Ukraine. More than 19 million tonnes of grain and more than 3 million tonnes of oilseeds have already been threshed. In total, more than 5,871,900 hectares have been harvested, with 22,324,600 tonnes of new crops threshed.

Farmers in Poltava region have completed harvesting early grains and pulses.

As of today, the following amounts have been harvested:

  • wheat – 3,502,000 hectares harvested, with a yield of over 14.7 million tonnes;
  • barley – 1,020,200 hectares harvested, with a yield of over 3.8 million tonnes;
  • peas – 189,800 hectares harvested, with a yield of 416,300 tonnes;
  • rapeseed – 1,086,300 hectares harvested, with a yield of over 3 million tonnes.

The regions are leaders in grain harvesting:

  • Odesa region – 733,300 hectares harvested;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 630,700 hectares harvested;
  • Mykolaiv region – 536,500 hectares harvested.

Khmelnytskyi region is the leader in terms of yield with 64 centners per hectare.
