Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture presents a response plan following enemy attacks on businesses in Kyiv and Kyiv region

A response plan and Government programs designed to quickly restore operations at enterprises in Kyiv city and the Kyiv region that have been damaged by enemy missile attacks, compensate for losses, and preserve jobs were presented during a meeting with business representatives.

Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, outlined three key business support tools.

• Grants for the restoration of manufacturing enterprises. Ukrainian manufacturers in the processing industry can receive up to UAH 16 million, with the state covering up to 80% of the project cost.
• State program to compensate for losses from war risks. It provides compensation for damaged or destroyed property of up to UAH 30 million, as well as partial coverage of war risk insurance costs—up to UAH 3 million.
• A Point of Support for businesses forced to temporarily suspend operations due to shelling. It provides for compensation for a portion of employees’ salaries and social security contributions during the period of downtime or relocation of the business.

“A clear action plan has already been developed for Kyiv and the Kyiv region for businesses affected by enemy attacks. Our task is to ensure that every entrepreneur knows where to turn, how to quickly receive assistance, and what Government tools are already in place to restore economic activity. The state stands ready to support businesses even under the most difficult conditions,” emphasized Taras Vysotskyi.

The Deputy Minister also urged representatives of military administrations to widely publicize information about available support programs among businesses and to assist companies in preparing their applications.
