The Governmental Committee on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, International Cooperation, Culture, Youth, Sports and Information Policy chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna has approved a plan for implementing the communication strategy in the field of European integration for 2021.
According to Olha Stefanishyna, the agreed communication strategy plan will help improve raising awareness of Ukrainian citizens about European values and standards as well as fight against misinformation discrediting relations of Ukraine with the European Union.
"European integration is about how to make the lives of Ukrainians better and more comfortable, about new opportunities and clear information about them. The communication plan we have approved today will make the information activities of all ministries more coordinated. In a simple and accessible form, ministries will be able to explain how state policy in the field of European integration affects the lives of each of us," said Olha Stefanishyna.
In addition, during the meeting, the Governmental Committee endorsed the renewal of the composition of the Coordination Council for the implementation of the Communication Strategy in the field of European integration for 2018-2021.
Both documents will be submitted to the Government in the near future.
