Government leaves gas price for the population unchanged by September 1

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extends the effect of the Resolution on entrusting with special responsibility on natural gas market participants to ensure public interest in the process of functioning of the natural gas market until September 1. The corresponding decision was approved at the Government sitting on Thursday, July 26.
It should be noted that gas price formation for the population is one of the key topics in the negotiations between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund. The talks are underway. The Government of Ukraine emphasizes that the price of gas is a rather sensitive issue to apply a solely mathematical prinicple in addressing it.
