The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 91 million for the purchase of 4,330 sets of reagents for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus by PCR method.

The relevant decision was made during a session of the Government on January 19.

The funding was made possible to allot due to savings in 2020 under the Public Health and Anti-Epidemic Measures Program.

Thanks to the economizing resources, it will be possible to additionally replenish the stocks of reagent kits in our laboratories. The purchased kits will allow to conduct about 415,000 PCR tests.
