The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at its extraordinary meeting, decided to allocate additional funds for the elimination of fire in the exclusion zone and for the implementation of measures connected with emergencies.

In particular, there was adopted a Resolution on the allocation of UAH 100 million to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to be transferred to the State Emergency Service for the implementation of measures related to the prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies.

Apart from that, the Government made a decision to allot to the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection the sum worth UAH 44.9 million (for the Forest Resources Agency - UAH 10.1 million and the State Agency on Exclusion Zone Management - UAH 34.8 million) for the implementation of measures to extinguish fires in the exclusion zone and the unconditional (compulsory) evacuation zone.

The resource will be allotted from the Reserve Fund of the State Budget.
