  • Government allocates UAH 44.4 million for reconstruction of Zakarpattya infrastructure affected by summer heavy rains

    The Government has allocated UAH 44.4 million to the Zakarpattia regional state administration from the reserve fund of the state budget to carry out emergency and recovery work to eliminate the consequences of a natural emergency that occurred on July 10-20, 2021. The relevant decision was made at a Government meeting on October 28.

    "It is extremely important for us to resolve issues related to financial assistance to the affected population of the Zakarpattia region and the restoration of infrastructure destroyed as a result of the emergency. Residents of the region should return to normal living and working conditions as soon as possible, "said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

    At the expense of the reserve fund of the state budget works on restoration of a network of establishments, establishments of social and road infrastructure will be carried out. These include shore protection measures, restoration of bridges, bridge crossings, healthcare facilities, etc.
