    Government of Ukraine  has simplified the conditions for foreign journalists to stay in Ukraine.

    From now on, foreign journalists who are accredited during martial law may not have to worry about renewing their residence permit in Ukraine. They will not be subject to restrictions on the temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons. Such rules are established by the Government for the period of martial law and within 30 days after its abolition or termination.

    Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 27, 2022 № 627:

    "To establish that for the period of martial law and within 30 days after its abolition or termination to foreigners and stateless persons who came to work as a correspondent or representative of foreign media and in the prescribed manner were accredited by media representatives during martial law, restrictions on the period of temporary stay on the territory of Ukraine do not apply, established by paragraph 2 of the Procedure for extending the period of stay and extending or reducing the period of temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons in Ukraine, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from February 15, 2012 № 150 (Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2012, № 17, p. 612)."
