Government hands over 25 new off-road ambulances to the Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Center

The Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal gave out to employees of the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine state awards. The awarding ceremony with the participation of the Minister of Health Viktor Liashko took place on May 27 on the occasion of the Day of Emergency Medicine.

"Emergency medicine is special people who leave no stone unturned, and for whom the pace of saving lives is both a goal and the target. We will make every effort to ensure that you can remain heroes both now and after our common victory, without risking your own life. In the new Ukraine of the future and a renewed healthcare system, the heart of which will forever be emergency medical care," noted the Prime Minister.

The awarded employees of the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine demonstrated high courage and heroism. They continued to work and rescue people under russian enemy shelling and bombing in the hottest spots of Kyiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Luhansk regions.

During the official event, 25 new off-road vehicles purchased with the support of the WHO and the UK Government were handed over to the Centers for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
