On Tuesday, March 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its session adopted a decision to simplify the import of humanitarian aid from abroad. According to the resolution adopted on March 23, only one document is required for the import of humanitarian aid - a declaration, which is filled out at customs.

The Government also abolished the list of goods recognized as humanitarian aid. This means that from now it will be possible to import all legal goods that are sent to Ukraine as humanitarian aid, without any restrictions. Now it is not necessary to get a certificate to start a humanitarian cargo.

"Only one document is needed to import humanitarian aid - a declaration, which is filled out very quickly. Indicate the sender, recipient, the actual place of unloading, type of assistance. That's all. If it is humanitarian aid to the state of Ukraine, it can be sent to the Regional Military Administrations or the relevant ministry. If the recipient is indicated to a particular community and the cargo is taken to the person to whom this assistance is intended, "said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Facebook page.

"I thank the members of the Government for the very important decision to facilitate the import of humanitarian aid to Ukraine from abroad. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs is also grateful to all our international partners and volunteers for their help to the Ukrainian people. We will win together!", said the Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Laputina.
