Communications Department of the Secretariat of the CMU, posted 05 February 2020 15:51

The Government has created a Fund for partial credit guarantee designed to simplify granting credits to small farmers who do not have a credit history. The corresponding draft law was approved at the Government sitting on February 5.

"We encourage additional investments in agro-industry! The Fund will grant access to loans for small and medium-sized businesses (up to 500 hectares), reducing the cost of attracting them," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk.

A sum worth UAH 240 million to form the authorized capital of the fund is envisaged in the State Budget for 2020.

"Small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises can become full-fledged participants of the market thanks to the state support!", the Head of Government underscored.
