  • Ministers' salaries will be tied to the average wage in the country, says Prime Minister

    The Government has regulated the payment of salaries to the leadership of central executive bodies. The corresponding order was approved following a commission of the President of Ukraine.

    Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk considers that the salaries of ministers and other high-ranking officials should be linked to the average salary in the country in line with the established coefficient, and bonuses should not exceed one salary and based on quarterly results of job evaluation.

    "It will be fair to link the salaries of ministers, deputy ministers, and other senior officials to the average wage in the country in line with the coefficient. Prime Minister and Ministers - 5 average salaries; Deputy Ministers – 4.5. The maximum bonus will not exceed one salary", Oleksiy Honcharuk said.

    Moreover, the PM emphasized that all information about the salaries of the leadership of the Cabinet of Ministers will be made public, and it will be published every month.

    The Government appealed to the supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine with the request to refrain from paying large bonuses to the management of this company and to consider reducing them.
