  • Government enlarges the list of privileged categories of children who will get assistance from the State for health improvement

    The Government has made a decision to ensure children of journalists who died while performing duties, Chernobyl victims and farmers visit health recreation camps.

    Moreover, the Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of categories of children who need special attention and support to provide their rehabilitation and recreation.

    The aforesaid list includes the following categories:

    children of journalists who have died in the line of duty,

    children one of the parents of whom has a diagnosed group I or II disability,

    children who are considered victims of the Chornobyl catastrophe, as well as

    children of those employed in the agro-industrial complex and the social sphere in rural areas.

    The children will be sent for rehabilitation to the specialized children's institutions, including the Artek International Children's Center and the Moloda Hvardiya Ukrainian Children's Center, at the expense of budgetary funds.
