Today, on November 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting has approved a series of decisions aimed to enhance the security of the state and its citizens.

In particular, the Government has established a ban on import of obsolete rolling stock from the Russian Federation from November 20, 2019, rather than from March 1, 2020, as was previously planned.

The Government has also included SE Mykolaiv Armoured Plant to the List of state-owned objects that are not subject to privatization as being of strategic importance for the economy and security of Ukraine.

Apart from that, the Government has extended a comprehensive program to counter trafficking in human beings, prevent and combat domestic and gender-based violence and violence against children. The Government's decision will allow the establishment of a modern call center for 169 employees, to ensure simultaneous operation of at least 16 agents who provide 24 hours, free and immediate response to the cases of domestic violence, counseling and psychological assistance, who feed the data to law enforcement agencies. Under the Government's decision, about 10,000 users will be connected to the Register to provide inter-agency information exchange between law enforcement agencies, procuracy authorities, the Ministry of Social Policy and others.
