Today, on November 6, at its meeting the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allotted funds for the purchase of 822 police vehicles specifically for small towns and rural areas. The Government's decision will enable to improve the performance in responding to citizens' requests for the police service in small towns and villages as early as in 2020. It is intended that in 2020, the project will cover some 30,000 small cities in Ukraine, home to about 28 million citizens, and envisages new workplaces for 3,200 community officers to work within the consolidated communities.
