Government has set up a National Commission on the Standards of the State Language

Today, on November 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established a National Commission on the Standards of the State Language that will also be responsible for verifying the level of national language proficiency necessary to acquire Ukrainian citizenship or be eligible to hold positions under the Ukrainian law.
Apart from that, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has embarked on shaping a strategy in culture and art sector preceded by conducting a sociological survey to ensure citizens' access to cultural services, access to art.
