The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced a selection for the positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” (hereinafter-USPA).

The competitive selection  will be carried out by the Committee for the appointment of heads of enterprises that are of particular importance to the economy.

"The chief criterion for selecting independent members of the supervisory board, as always, will be the successful experience in management of large enterprises or organizations. In particular, the growth of financial indicators of those enterprises and organizations where they worked, or successfully implemented projects: the transformation of companies, privatization, restructuring, etc. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to assist the company's management,  develop a strategy for successful development for the USPA,  provide a highly professional expertise that the company may  be lacking ", stressed Olexandr Saienko, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a member of the Committee for the appointment of heads of enterprises that are of particular importance to the economy.

The selection of professional, experienced and unbiased supervisory boards of the SOEs is an important part of the reform of state-owned enterprises, which will improve the quality of asset management in the public sector.

Applications for the participation in the competitive selection will be accepted starting from 10:00 am on October 11, 2018 (Kyiv time) to 6:00 pm on November 9, 2018 (Kyiv time).
