The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated state subvention funds to the tune of UAH 142.68 million to local budgets for the creation of centers for the provision of administrative services and social services in the format of Transparent Office. The Government decision stipulates for establishment of such centers in 16 cities and consolidated communities (CC) throughout Ukraine, among them are the cities of Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Kamianske, Kropyvnytskyi, Mirnograd, Novograd-Volynskyi, Rubizhne and Chernihiv. The largest amount of subventions was allocated to Druzhkivka (almost UAH 18 million ) and to the Merefa CC (UAH 17.7 million).
Background
Local authorities of Vinnytsya and Kharkiv were the first pilot cities that created centers for the provision of administrative services in the format of Transparent Office. Subsequently, other cities joined their initiative. The key feature of the work of such centers is to provide the service in the most convenient form, when the applicant submits the necessary set of documents for obtaining a certificate, authorization, other service, and all subsequent process takes place automatically without the need to communicate with officials or line authorities. Transparent offices usually are located in buildings adapted for people with disabilities and equipped with facilities that allow to avoid queues.
