    The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved to the draft law On Vocational Education, which is aimed to trigger a systemic reload of the entire chain of vocational training and submits it to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for consideration. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during the Government sitting.

    The draft law, in particular, reviews the content of the professional education, transfers to the regions management over this system, especially in the context of order and meeting the needs in training personnel at the local labor market, opens opportunities for dual education - as a world-recognized practice of training personnel, and provides training opportunities for people with special educational needs. Such an approach should significantly improve not only the quality of training but also its compliance with modern requirements of industry and production. The Prime Minister noted, it is crucial to ensure our young people receive competitive education, which gives young people a good start in life, while our economy – get highly trained professionals.

    "This year, there will be established 150 centers of vocational education", said Volodymyr Groysman. "And the adoption of the law will regulate a number of issues, in particular, the engagement of local authorities in the development of vocational training in the framework of decentralization. Thereby, we will take a big step forward in upgrading this sphere."
