The Government approved 55 regional development projects funded from the State Regional Development Fund (SRDF) in 2018 to the tune of over UAH 186 million. This was announced by Vice Prime Minister/ Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko.

"This funding from the SRDF will be directed to the construction in the regions of kindergartens, schools, healthcare facilities, development of sports infrastructure, restoring of bridges and road infrastructure, water supply and drainage facilities, thermal modernization, etc. The vast majority of projects will be completed in 2018", stressed Hennadii Zubko.

At the expense of the SRDF in the regions there will be erected in the regions 14 educational facilities (general education schools, kindergartens), 4 public health and social protection facilities, 19 sports facilities, 4 objects of road transport infrastructure, 3 culture objects and others.

The funding from the SRDF approved in the CMU resolution covers the projects submitted for consideration by Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv regional and Kyiv municipal state administrations.

It should be noted that the total amount of financing from the SRDF in 2018 makes up UAH 6 billion.
