The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the State Audit Service  of Ukraine to conduct an audit of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on the facts of delays in public procurement procedures. 

According to the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Olexandr Saienko, the decision was taken at a Government meeting on Wednesday, June 13.

“We get a lot of complaints from the central and local authorities about the facts of termination,  cancellation, or appeal of public procurement procedures”, the Minister stressed.

Olexandr Saienko emphasized that it has led to inefficient use of funds, the delay of the construction of objects, etc.

“The State Audit Service in synergy with other line authorities will conduct a comprehensive review of such facts. We will request all necessary information from  the ministries, central executive bodies, local self-governments and will make its in-depth analysis, and then present to the Government the results of this audit,” the Minister underscored.
