Stepan Poltorak: Due to the Government decision we will improve social protection of service personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

On Wednesday, June 13, during the session of the  Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the decision on amending Law of Ukraine  ‘On Amending Article 12 of Law of Ukraine ‘On social and legal  protection of service personnel and members of their families’ was  approved.

“Amendments to this Law enable our military  to receive apartments and rent compensation despite they had or did not  have an apartment in Crimea”, General Poltorak said.

According to the Minister, in Odesa, this year  the Ukrainian Navy will receive 82 apartments, military barracks for  400 people, as well as infrastructure for 1,500 people.

“Due to this decision we will improve social  protection of service personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces”, the Head of Defence Ministry underscored.
