The Government team presented the Cabinet of Ministers’ Action Programme to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, which is the lead committee responsible for considering the relevant draft resolution.

The Committee unanimously supported the Government Action Programme and resolved to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approve it.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi thanked the Committee members for their professional approach, active involvement in reviewing the document and support.

According to the Prime Minister, the Programme sets out specific goals and tasks, clear implementation deadlines and designated responsible parties.

“This is a practical action plan against which the Government’s performance can be assessed,” Sergii Koretskyi emphasised.

The Government now awaits consideration of the Programme in the Verkhovna Rada’s plenary chamber and its approval by MPs.

“The next step is for the Government and Parliament to work together to implement it in Ukraine’s interests,” the Prime Minister stressed.
