The Government has approved amendments to several regulatory acts to improve the mechanism for suspending tax invoice registrations. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko following the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on 26 August.
“This will halve the number of taxpayers facing registration blocks,” the Head of Government stressed.
Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the changes include unconditional registration of invoices for businesses in regions at risk of hostilities, as well as higher thresholds for unconditional registration and a “positive history” for small and medium-sized businesses.
The changes will take effect in 30 days, allowing time to adjust the system.
