The Cabinet of Ministers has disbursed UAH 1 billion to liquidate the aftermath of shelling in the hardest-hit frontline regions, which include 93 communities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced during a Government session.

According to her, the funds will be directed to five areas: the construction and equipping of shelters, additional protection of critical infrastructure, emergency rescue operations, repair of utility networks, and the purchase of fuel reserves.

The Head of Government stressed that it was essential to ensure that every Ukrainian family had electricity, gas, and heat, as the enemy continued to shell each and every night.

"I stay in constant communication with the regions. Repair work is ongoing 24/7 at Ukrenergo substations and power generation facilities. We are launching additional backup power sources. We are forced to maintain hourly power outage schedules, but thanks to joint efforts, we manage to reduce the duration of outages. I would like to thank all energy workers for their daily efforts," said the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
