Government adds six more industrial parks to state register: Yulia Svyrydenko
The Government has approved the inclusion of six additional industrial parks in the state Register of Industrial Parks. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko following the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on 26 August. It is expected that enterprises on a 140-hectare territory will create over 5,000 jobs.
“For the second year in a row, the state is co-financing the development of industrial park infrastructure, helping communities transform empty or neglected areas into attractive production sites with electricity, access roads, and other infrastructure,” the Head of Government noted.
Yulia Svyrydenko highlighted that last year, 15 parks received UAH 1.2 billion, launching 33 projects.
“This year, the first orders have already been signed – two parks received over UAH 200 million. Applications are being accepted until 29 August,” the Prime Minister stressed, adding that recipients of support must secure UAH 5–6 in private investments per UAH 1 of state funding.
