Government adopts 4 more decisions as part of commitments to secure international financing

The Government has switched to a regime of maximum savings and postponed all non-priority expenditures. But that alone won't be enough. It is critically important for us to receive funds from international partners. This financing directly depends on Ukraine's fulfillment of the commitments it has undertaken. Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi emphasized.

He explained that there are two blocks of commitments: Government's decisions and legislative changes.

The Head of the Government thanked members of parliament for their productive work during last week's plenary session and everyone who supported the adoption of some of the necessary draft laws in the first reading.

Sergii Koretskyi reported that at today's meeting the Government had adopted 4 more decisions as part of these commitments.

"Thus, of the 42 planned decisions, 17 have already been completed. We must finish the rest by October 15, as promised," the Prime Minister stressed.

According to the Head of the Government, over these two weeks it is critical to speed up work as much as possible and make sure that every decision is carried through to completion: "Any delay carries a very high price. Our defense, the resilience of the state and our ability to resist Russia depend on the fulfillment of these commitments."

"We value the active involvement of members of parliament in preparing important draft laws. The Government has been and remains committed to constructive and coordinated work with parliamentarians. This is our joint work and our shared responsibility," Sergii Koretskyi stated.
