Government endorses Fuel Cashback program
Starting March 20, Ukrainians will be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for fuel purchased at gas stations participating in the program. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The cashback will be as follows:
▪️ 15% – on diesel;
▪️ 10% – on gasoline;
▪️ 5% – on autogas.
This will allow for savings of UAH 2 to 11 per liter.
The maximum cashback amount for fuel is up to UAH 1,000 per person per month.
The program will run until May 1 as part of the National Cashback initiative. A list of participating gas stations will be available on the program’s official resources.
If you are already using National Cashback, the compensation is automatically credited when you pay with your card. To join, you need to open a card with a partner bank and select it for payments and payouts in Diia.
“The accrued funds can be used to pay for utilities, medicines, Ukrainian-made products, books, postal services, or to support our defenders,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko. “This is an additional support tool in response to rising fuel prices, which allows us to quickly help people through an already functioning mechanism.”
