Government temporarily appoints Oleksandr Porkhun as Acting Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine

During today’s meeting, the Government adopted a resolution to temporarily appoint Oleksandr Porkhun as Acting Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Porkhun has served as First Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs since 22 April 2020.
He is a retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a person with a war-related disability, a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war, former commander of the 13th separate air assault battalion of the 95th separate air assault brigade. He was awarded the Order of the Gold Star (2015).
