  • Government establishes Interagency Working Group on anti-corruption digital tools

    The Interagency Working Group will support the prompt and timely implementation of digitalisation measures outlined in the State Anti-Corruption Programme for 2023-2025. In particular, digitalisation of various sectors will help prevent corruption schemes and fraud.

    The Anti-Corruption Programme envisages the introduction of 63 digital products – information systems, electronic communication networks, information technology tools, etc. These include improving the functioning of the Unified Register of State Property, launching a unified electronic Urban Planning Cadastre, and creating the Unified Information System of the National Informatisation Programme.

    The Interagency Group will enable effective planning for the implementation of these digital products, which will have a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of government agencies, enterprises and businesses.

    The Interagency Group will be chaired by Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation, and Oleksandr Novikov, Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, and will also include representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Justice.

    The Interagency Group includes representatives of programmes and projects that support the Government of Ukraine in reforming public administration and services and help eradicate corruption in key sectors. In particular, the E-Governance for Accountability and Participation (EGAP) programme, the Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) project, the EU project Support to Justice Sector Reform and Digitalisation in Ukraine (Pravo-Justice II), the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI), the USAID project Support to Anti-Corruption Champion Institutions in Ukraine (SACCI).
