Government streamlines aviation modernization procedure to combat Shahed drones

We are improving the protection of Ukrainian sky. We streamline aviation modernization to combat Shahed drones. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. 

“The Government has adopted a decision that allows for the faster retrofitting of aircraft and helicopters to meet the needs of modern warfare. Now it is possible to install weapons, communications equipment, navigation systems, and target detection systems without long approval processes,” the Head of Government noted.

The entire process will be reduced to one month. Not only enterprises but also specialists and military units will be involved in the work. This allows for a faster response to new threats and strengthens our military’s capabilities in repelling air attacks.

“We must change quickly and adapt our procedures to the challenges of war,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
