Yulia Svyrydenko: We improve procurement procedures for the Armed Forces
The Government is improving procurement procedures for the Armed Forces. The Defense Procurement Agency DOT will streamline the procurement of pickup trucks and other military vehicles using decentralized budgets. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“The Government has granted DOT the status of a centralized procurement organization. This means that the agency will work directly with suppliers, define and verify requirements. This decision makes it easier to procure the pickup trucks needed by military units, as well as motorcycles, ATVs, and buggies. All of this will be available on Prozorro Market,” the Head of Government noted.
Now, the military no longer need to go through complex procedures independently. Simply select the equipment from the catalog—the system will suggest verified suppliers.
This would expedite procurement and reduce risks. Plans include expanding the list of goods in the future.
