Government allocates over UAH 157 million from reserve fund to restore and protect energy infrastructure in Sumy and Kherson regions

The Government is allocating more than UAH 157 million from its reserve fund to repair and safeguard energy infrastructure in two frontline regions — Sumy and Kherson oblasts. Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced the decision.

"UAH 107 million will go toward restoring an energy facility in Sumy region that supplies heat to nearly 160,000 households," he said. "Another UAH 50 million will fund additional protection for eight facilities in Kherson region, where crews will install engineering safeguards and anti-drone defenses for critical equipment."

The Prime Minister emphasized that tender procedures must move quickly, with work completed as soon as possible.

"With financial resources limited, the Government is prioritizing the most urgent needs — particularly in frontline regions," Sergii Koretskyi said.
