Government endorses the concept of the State Social Target Program “Youth of Ukraine 2030: Generation of Resilience"
On August 11, on the eve of Youth Day, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed the concept of the State Social Target Program “Youth of Ukraine: Generation of Resilience - 2030”.
The goal of the Program is to foster a sense of belonging to Ukrainian society among young people as a strategic component of Ukraine's human capital, develop their resilience, and create opportunities for personal self-realization.
The concept envisages concentration of state efforts on three priority tasks. These are:
- Expanding youth participation in public life and strengthening social cohesion.
- Developing resilience: a safe environment and psycho-emotional well-being of young people.
- Promoting self-realization and economic empowerment of young people.
An important prerequisite for the successful implementation of the State Program is interagency and intersectoral cooperation.
"The Youth of Ukraine: Generation of Resilience - 2030 is about our joint action and confidence in the future. Our goal is to make the environment barrier-free and friendly for everyone, to give them the opportunity to learn, find themselves, discover talents and build a career. Because the future of Ukraine is being created today, and it is being created by young people," emphasized Minister of Youth and Sports Matvii Bidnyi.
The following step is to develop measures for the State Program “Youth of Ukraine: Generation of Resilience - 2030”.
