Government expands programme of state support for installing autonomous power sources in apartment blocks
The Government has expanded the programme of state support for installing autonomous power sources in apartment blocks, Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi has announced.
The programme will now operate in four more regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava and Sumy. It was previously available in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
The Prime Minister said that applications can be submitted on behalf of co-owners by condominium associations, apartment block managers, and housing construction and service cooperatives.
The programme provides for equipment that will keep lighting, water supply, heating, communications and lifts running during power outages.
"In addition to expanding the programme's reach, the Government has also improved how it is implemented," Sergii Koretskyi stressed.
