The Government has decided to expand the eRobota program for frontline regions. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 4 April.
"We increase the size of the grant twice - up to UAH 300,000 and UAH 500,000, respectively," he said, adding that the decision applies to Kharkiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The Prime Minister also stressed that today, across Ukraine, it was possible to receive a grant of UAH 150,000 for one job created or UAH 250,000 for two.
"It is crucial that more businesses and more entrepreneurs appear in our communities. Because these are jobs, the ability to provide for yourself and your family, and the financing of our defence capability, because every hryvnia that we collect in the budget in the form of taxes and fees goes to the Security and Defence Forces," said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, in March of this year, the state budget received UAH 313.5 billion, including UAH 86 billion of income tax paid by Ukrainian companies.
In general, the Head of Government noted, the eRobota grant program was one of the most successful initiatives to support business. The state has invested over UAH 12 billion in this program, 25,000 entrepreneurs have already received grants, and the main component of the program is microgrants ranging from UAH 50,000 to 250,000, which have already been issued to 22,500 entrepreneurs.
