Government launches comprehensive support programme for frontline regions
On the instruction of the President of Ukraine, the Government has launched a comprehensive programme to support frontline regions.
The first package of the programme was approved by Government resolutions on 13 August 2025. The programme designates responsible ministries for the development of each focus area.
The programme is built on five priorities: people, housing, safety, business, and healthcare.
People in frontline areas will gain access to safer living, learning, and working conditions – shelters, secure schools and kindergartens, preferential mortgages and compensation for housing restoration, as well as access to healthcare, subsidies for utility services, and new opportunities for employment and business.
The programme targets over 230 frontline communities.
Full details of the Programme are available via the link (in Ukrainian).
